Get ready for a whole new sound! To kick off the new WaveTec label, Kats and Styles have dropped a HOT futuristic tech-house ground-breaker. Squealing tones are stretched, bent and blended to create warped waves of sound that crash across the track. Soulful vocal interjections add a subtle human touch that helps tie the track together without ever crowding the space. The whole sound seems to shift and twist together, moving like one living object and bringing the listener right along with it.
On the B-side is a dub version that works off the same basic groove but keeps the sound much sparser and slightly more jittery. With less of a focus on building intensity, this version just sits in the pocket and lets each sound hold its own place, making a great late-night head-nodder. Following the dub is a short acapella that will make a very useful DJ tool. |
