Muddyloop are Kid Christou, Morose, Blonde Peterson and The Task. Muddyloop have been making music for 4 years. Starting out with a shortage of equipment and a plethora of ideas, Muddyloop’s early material was lo-fi, wacky and endearing. Later, they would set up their own candlelit studio where they would begin work on fresh tracks and realise their quirky potential. Muddyloop was born…Muddyloop’s sound can be described as electrofunktropic house. Influences are a pastiche of 80’s pop melodrama, Prince (when he was good), hip-hop, electronica, old skool soul, deep/progressive/early house and anything they listened to recently or long ago. Muddyloop will continue working on groove-infected house tracks, and are already busy in the studio trying to build their impetus and gain recognition and respect the hard way. In between other projects, Muddyloop are also working on their first album, a more eclectic offering blending deep funk house, electro love ballads, hip-hop breaks, eighties chords and sexual alter-egos. Muddyloop will always endeavour to make good music. |
