Wil Milton has been contributing to the New York soulful house arena since the early 90’s. His first productions were released under Smack Productions, the New Jersey production camp that produced Michael Watford’s album “Hold On”, and artists such as Urban Soul and Kym Rae. In 1997, Wil initiated his own production company titled Blakink (pronounced ‘Black Ink’) Productions. Under the Blakink moniker, Wil continues to produce and remix quality, soulful house productions and remixes for artists such as Myra, Dawn Tallman and Dianne Moore as well as under his own name, Wil Milton.
Wil is also known for his superb DJ sets and his beautiful, weekly parties “Touch Tuesday”, which has been keeping the vibe alive in the East Village for four continuous years, and “Together In Spirit”, Wil’s Sunday event, which is now in its second year. These events showcase Wil’s deep, soulful spirit and his commitment to playing quality music with substance and style. |
