Sharon Phillips was born in October of 1979 on the Caribbean island of Tobago. At the tender age of 7, she already had begun to sing in her church choir. By about ten years later she had won almost every singing contest on the island. There upon she began to sing in the most well known studio there as a backing vocal singer. It didn't take long, until she could record a few of her own demos there. The producer trio WACKSIDE recognized her unusual talent, when they got those demos through a related artist. They contacted Sharon and started to work on an album in Germany. Sharon's voice has a large bandwidth and doesn't need to hide behind anyone as some other popular R&B vocalists. When you listen to one of her songs and her voice, you will immediately hear that she already has a lot of experience for someone so young. Meanwhile she has become the mother of two kids and within this time she has also become a teacher. Because of this and her experience in the church choir she has an unusual stage appearance and is a great "live performer". Her first single 'Touch Me' with remixes from Tiefschwarz and Wackside was released worldwide and became quite a club hit. So expect more in the near future from this brilliant voice.
