When I capped the back of my 36" DAS horns it made a huge difference.

You should try it. It's surprising how ergonomic it actually is. I'm short and I wouldn't have my set up any other way.

I managed to win the DJ Tech Tools best DJ setup 2012 competition:

http://www.djtechtools.com/2012/12/0...-setup-winner/

I got a lot of flack for having the headphones and the iPad on my 1200's for the photo, so I don't want to hear it They are easily moved. Geeze... I was just taking pictures.

Congrats, Ryan! It's a beautiful setup, I was wondering if it was a Wave member's.

Pretty sure that's not a Formula Sound, I think it's a French mixer can't remember the name

The board over the woofers... Is that its design or some modification?

Ah cool, I remember a French mixer that was also red which looked a bit like a cross between that and those old Soundcraft DJ mixers from the 90's

Those are Freevox mixers. Great stuff. But they have a different shade of red, and they have to be rack mounted since the connections are on the bottom.

But I really thought that was a Formula Sound. Learned something again!

as per the designer the board works as a crossover to eliminate everything over 500Hz

unfortunately my mixer is neither a FS nor a freevox.
Would love to have a DJ Club like you, Estacy

even though the KME is very well built and sounds fantastic, I'm afraid, they don't sell DJ mixers any more

If you want the DJ club you can come and get it. provided you want to spend the time and money to fix it.

Now proud owner of a Rodec MX180mk3. Sounds amazing. punchy bass, but the mids and tops are smooth as butter. with the high just right. Not many mixers get the highs right. Workflow is amazing.
