Are there any other mixers that have the Bass/Mid/Treble controls that way round? Seems counterintuitive and every other mixer I've ever seen has Bass at the bottom and treble at the top.

Nice Isonoe mods on your Bozak there, mate!
I love the minimal Bozak look, with no balance or tone controls.
When I got Justin to do mine, I even took out the two Microphone channels, as there was no reason to use them at home in my living room. Easily reversible too if needed. Do you ever use them?

And how about a nice meter for that blank 1U space you have left in your rack?!

hi, thanks for the compliments!
the mic controls have actually been removed, i just decided to keep the knobs

not sure about a meter (dont want to degrade the sound by adding something additional to the chain)

..thinking of getting an eq instead of the isolator as i dont really think the isolator is suitable for a small home set up

Run the Iso off the Bozak's main outputs and stick the meter on the Bozak's tape/loop out. Won't be in the audio chain at all then, but helps to balance levels between different vinyl pressings. I play lots of LP tracks and 45s so it comes in handy. I use my ears too, of course.

That was exactly my thinking too. How about that ARS 5-band eq?

Aahh those 4530's.. Used to have a pair in my mom's basement back in the day, which undoubtedly helped making her grow less than fond of dance music (prolly had to do with the way they 'rotated' her china in the cupboards one floor above).

Formula Sound

Yes, the only reversed tone controls I've seen too.

Loving the JBL scoops, that looks like a Fane slot? Nice looking room too.

Laurin PM regarding the PM.................

any particular reason for the orientation of the tweeter's slot?
reason I ask is that i've always seen the JBL ones with the slot vertical...
