WELCOME! Is that the Hi-Level PM5000? How do you like it? Did you have yours customized at all? They offered me several different pot options when I priced one. Ended up purchasing the DJR400, but I still would love to get my hands on a PM5000 one day!

Come here and do so . Let me know, when you visit germany next time...

What should I tell you about this mixer?

1. Sound
2. Sound
3. BIG knobs

But let's not discuss about sound... djr, urei, pm5k etc. they all sound different but really good. That's it. I have no direct comparison to the others, but I can they that it's another world than the Pioneer, Denon and Tascam Mixers I know.

I ordered a customized version directly from phase accoustics. I think it's the better way to purchase a pm5000. Thus I could take the conductive plastic crossfader with the channels 1 and 2 on the left side and 3 and 4 on the right (not as labeled on the Mixer). For the pots I took the standard version. They are really great.

Wow, lot's of nice stuff! A pair of Thorens and a HiLevel! I recently racked my set-up, recapped my Bozak, got a boombox and got a Sl-P1200. It is not the most elegant set-up, but I plan to build a booth soon that is sturdy and well isolated.

Hey Guys,
I'm new here in this forum.
Last weekend I gave my birthday party. It was just going back into time with the stuff I was playing with for more then 25 years ago.
Just changed my boombox for the MoFX in this set up. Another boombox is installed in a rack.
The party was a blast.

How do you like the Electrix Mo-Fo unit? What does it allow you to do in the way of effects?

The MoFx gives you variations and combinations in:
distortion, flanging, tremelo and delay.
variations are depth, mixing, going thru, automatic insync on low, mid and high band separation. wet and dry function, 100% bypass etc etc.
See it as a kind off 19" pioneer FX500.

nice set up...

Is that system completely silent when all the Bozak IsoX knobs are counter clock-wise? some folks have reported that there may be some music comming through, even in the counter clockwise position... wondering what your experience has been...

Yes there is a slight sound when all knobs are at 7 o'clock (closed). I have to say it is very very minimal.
but that's also with my bozak mixer and even with my Urei mixer when knobs are closed.
When playing you will hardly recognize.
I also make use of the Vestax 1200 and 1200pro.
Bozak Iso X is far sounding better especially when setting it on the 4 way use.
cheers
