Gary Stewarts last system for sale

So we have made the decision to sell Gary Stewarts (GSA/RLA AUDIO) last system from District 36 in NYC. We have all 4 stacks in pristine condition. I also have all all the Powersoft amps Gary installed and would keep them or sell them with the stacks.

This system will only go into a room deserving of it. If anyone is interested you can message me @ jason@aatny.com

Are there any rooms deserving of it? Who will be the judge? Should've left it where it was IMHO.

This really makes me wonder what the hell is going on with clubs..

Im almost speechless..

Was there that much of a need to get rid of the system for the Void stacks?

Who the hell has money to piss away like that, I mean if you guys sold it first maybe.. but to post it for sale here means you have no one to sell it to.. this is crazy.

you think someone on this forum or who reads this forum has the coin to buy this system, and install or store it?

what is the price tag? tell us, without amps what do you want for the stacks?

I bet it's a pretty big number...

very interesting though....
I wish I had a more tolerant spouse...

not that I can afford or justify this, even if I did have the coin...

although I must say, she it's very tolerant as is..... :emphatic yes:

good luck with the sale!

It strikes me just how similar the Pioneer Wave system looks like this one.

Weren't the rumors that this system was cut up into pieces to get it out of the building? I guess it's good that didn't happen.

What would one of these systems cost new vs. used? New I'd imagine you are paying for not just the equipment but all of the installation and planning costs.

Used, hmm? $25k per stack? More? Less? Just curious.

The drivers would be all new and can be exactly what Gary used or we can load with another driver

The BMS are original and still in the horns

I wont discuss price here and if anyone is serious they will make a respectable offer as you have an idea what it is worth. You can send me a private message if you like.

I tend to agree that anyone with serious interest/ intent should probably contact you offline...

I think the game here is to cause a bidding process given our shock and amazement on here that someone would actually remove that system from the room. AND given the fact that Pioneer chose this exact system as their flagship big room system a la GS-WAV.

It could have been a very good marketing move to keep the GS-WAV, probably would have problems using Pioneer's name without an agreement.. I think they would have jumped all over the chance to re-brand it to have a foot hold in the NYC area and a system to demo to US clients.

I get that Sankey's wanted to set a high standard for sound with something new, that they had originally decided on a space a bit more uptown to make their NYC home.. They also had the system already as per the S/N#s that Nathan wrote..

The price on the Incubus per stack.. + the fact that they wont sell the tops without the bottoms, unless you go with a setup using four tops two subs. Its a great rig, but overpriced given what a club can make in a given evening. I hope they made the right choice and that Sankey's is a long lasting player in the NYC nightclub offerings.

but why on earth was the system downstairs changed, unless it was no longer there when they acquired the club. Because the prior system was far superior in the basement, with smaller speakers I might add..
