Alpha 3500 Vs Bozak Iso X

Hello,

I own a A&H V6, and im looking to add a iso unit.

I have played on the Alpha 3500 and loved it! I really like the throaty sound it puts out when added db's and I found it has a really smooth curve.

Ive only watched vids of the bozak, and it looks solid, but again I was really happy with the alpha.

Im wondering if anyone has used both of these units and could compare the two.

Any helpful info would be great

TJ

Haven't played either, but the bozak has had some negative reviews here, why not get the e&s (with the 6db mod), sounds excellent and great price

Haven't used either the Alpha or the Bozak, but I have the GSA if you want to have a listen: I'm in Vancouver like you TJ.

I've played on both. The Bozak has a much more subtle EQ-like character and the Alpha is more like a "traditional" isolator IMO, complete with a more prominent sonic signature.

I prefer the Bozak but I use it in a subtle way and that may, of course, not be what you want.

BTW I think ive made my mind up, im going to go with the alpha's, Ive played with them at fortune lots and they are just to much fun. But id still like to come by and check out what your working with.

I saw your pics of the space you threw shows at, what's your dj name/ production?

I run Subversive Events, and do shows at open studios, W2, and various illegal warehouse spaces.
