Making headphones mono

Hi, just a quick question;

I have 2 pairs of Sony 7506 headphones, 1 for studio, the other for DJ use.

I want to modify the DJ pair so that they are permanently mono. I understand I need to match the impedance (63 ohms) and sum the left and right through 63 ohm resistors to make a clean mono signal?

I've also read that carbon film resistors are the ones to use?

Can anyone point me in the direction, preferably in the UK, to get hold of suitable resistors for this? I get a little confused looking at them because they all seem to be way too high voltage specs.

Many thanks.

Thanks for the reply, but I was wanting something more specific. When I look at them they all look way too high voltages??

The below will suit your needs. No need for Carbon unless you want the extra noise.

68R will be fine.
