need to adjust the XP2016 engage lettering on the faceplate's right...
or will this unit plug into a XP?

Is this actually a pre-production unit, or photoshop dream?

I'm guessing photoshop. Also, even though it's a 19" it's short a channel compared to the 2016.

I'd trade gain control for aux select on the front panel; espercially with only five inputs.

If they were going to intergrate a EQ why not just add the XP's 3-band why bother with a 2-band with the ability to add the XP... too much EQ in my mind as i would still add the XP for the EQ...
I do like the idea of seperating the crossover section as i have never seen it used on the 2016s we have!

Trade the bass & treble knobs for a lo cut filter knob and reso knob.
Gain has to go, input select has to come.

Thanks Laurin i didn't notice there wasn't a input select on each channel, i love the input select on the 2016!

on a side note, my 2016, 1620 and my DL all have broken down at the same time and i have gone back to using on of my MP24's, i have fallen in love with it all over again, great sound, just needs rotarys insted of the sliders!

I call bullsh*t on this although it is somewhat decent Photoshop work (even though they didn't completely blend out the seams from the original images). Note that the crossfader section can only accommodate channels 1-4 even though it has 5 channels. Additionally, there is a switch for the XP2016S on there.

If you believe this is real, then I'd like to offer you some beach front property in Palm Springs along with a few ounces of premium snake oil.

David, i don't think that’s the point, yes it doesn't look right and god know if it is a fake or another Rane demo (have you seen the questionable digital images on their site). For me it's just a concept no matter who made the photo and weather or not it's real doesn't matter to me personally.

Just something for us to crap on about!!

Now how about that "Premium Snake Oil" you were offering, can you ship it to Australia, do you accept a credit card in my friend’s name????
For that matter how do you get oil out of a snake,,,, sounds dangerous???

I don’t know Laurin I have lots of snakes on my Farm but I’m not sure if I could entice them into a blender, maybe if I put a mouse in the blender as bait!!!!

Manny, maybe people are right about that photo but it doesn’t mean the mixer doesn’t exist there are always prototypes drifting around, I know from personal experience I have had hush-hush demo mixers given to me to try out in my work shop from time to time it’s not uncommon! The last couple I had came with contracts to sign making sure I didn’t take photos or tell anyone about the mixers, both of those mixers were never made!

Has anyone ever seen the HBG (Bozak) DLX mixer? I was told at least 3 of those prototypes are out there but I have never actually seen one. I was told it was designed and built by the last few remaining original company engineers. They were built in 2010/2011 and have nothing to do with the new company and are 100% original with added features from the DLC.

I've only heard rumours and I thought it was just a myth but I would love to see one if it exists sounds like a nice bit of kit.. Maybe Santa will bring me one for Christmas!

That is it Michele. I did not know if the photo I once seen was real or a mock up. The story I got was there were 5 built for customers to demo but the tooling involved proved to be too expensive so Buzzy was just sitting on it. I would like to know more about this if anyone has info or any real photos. I tried to find out more but the only thing I got was that supposedly Buzzy sent one to the west coast for John Kimura and one to the east coast for Mario G. to demo. There is one installed in a large night club, one was shipped overseas for evaluation, and he has one. I am glad to find out it is real and not just a photo shop hype. Thanks!

Captainjr, the link that I posted is the same picture that michele shared here. I think that a few months ago there were more photos of the HBG mixer on Mario Gianotte's profile but now I just found this one...
