Paging Scott Fitlin

Scott,

I will be in the NYC area next weekend (5/27 - 5-29). I would like to come by your place and bump my ass off. Just wondering what days are better to come, what your hours are, and when you might be around so I could meet you. You can email me at sprice7@nc.rr.com.

Thanks,
Jason

I finally got out to Coney Island to check out Scott's incredible system, and ride the bumper cars. It really is worth the visit. If you're ever in the NYC area you should put it on your list of things to do.

Scott it was nice to finally meet you, and put a face with the comments I read on here all the time. Thanks for the tour and the free rides!

Following are some pictures of our adventure. This one is from the subway platform which is just across the street from Eldorado. You could hear the bass from here!!

Finally inside, and the sound is amazing. Even when the ride is running, it sounds very clean. All I wanted to do was park my car in front of those horns, but people kept knocking me around.

This is my only pic from inside. I was having so much fun I forgot to take pictures.

A trip to Coney Island just wouldn't be complete without a Nathans hotdog. Delicious, nutricious, and a lot cheaper than Nobu.

Getting my eat on. Yum. Washed it down with a Corona.

How some little Japanese kid can eat 50 of these things is beyond me.

thanks for the pictures. is it really one year ago, that i have been in nyc....seems so. the underground station had been a construction site that time, as far as i can remember. i had to take a bus for the last part of the ride.

i really wonder if scott never has problems with his neighbours, e.g the soft serve shop next to his ride. or do they sell some special disco bass soft ice cream?

Scott,

I didnīt know what place you have.

The pictures explained one and another.
There was a planning for a NY trip last year with my friends
but it ended up to nothing.. I hope I can fulfill it this year.
A stop @ your place is inavoidable.

SCOTT YOU'RE THE SOUND MAN FOR THE ELDORADO?

No way. I am from Brooklyn. I lived in Brownsville for, like, all my life. I lived in Canarsie, and East New York, well, Brooklyn. I use to go to Coney like all the time and just stand outside and listen to your system. The Toronado didn't compare.

Damn! This pictures made me homesick. I will be down there come the fourth of July and thereabouts. Canarsie is having a Class reunion. I will be going the reunion and to the Eldo with renewed interests. I come to Coney every year. Now that I know you are affiliated with that sound system, I will do as K did. Visit, ride this time, and take oodles and oodles of pictures. I hope you don't mind me taking more of the system than anything else. lol.

My uncle, and AST invented what we have! I was the kid they used to ask, " How does that Sound " ? If I liked it, it was good.

Been here since my Dad and Uncle built it in the winter of `72.

When the other kids were playing ball, I was here playing records! And the system will be sounding good for this season!

Yeah, I am the Son of Eldorado! You bring the camera, bring your kids, take all the pics you want! Still got them old ass Crown DC-300A,s too. Maybe play with a bit of bryston this year, see what happens!

Hydraulic pallet jack takes em off the street into my place, aint no biggie.

I, and about three other guys are the setup crew, and again, we get this done no problem.

I flip 550lb bumper cars over like toys, we can get these in place, without a hassle.

Its taking the J Horns out thats the real job! Those suckers are 500lbs and awkward. But, it shall be done, you can count on it.
