Post Bozak CMA-10-2DL for sale

Just wanted to let anyone interested know that I have a CMA-10-2DL for sale. The unit is serial# G0349, which means it is from the last production run. This is also the only production run that comes with ALPS pots from the factory.

Unfortunately this unit DOES NOT HAVE THE PHONO PREAMP CARDS but I will throw a couple PRO-JECT phono preamp boxes in for the buyer.

Cosmetically the face plate looks its age and the knobs have a few dings here and there.

Soundwise the mixer has no flaws. The pots feels smooth like ALPS pots do, and they sound as clean as new.

I realize that the lack of phono cards will make it uninteresting for some but if you wan't to get a feel for the bozak sound, here is you chance to get it cheap.

I will post a picture of the unit a soon as i get the chance to take one.

I'm situated in europe.

Email me an offer on bozak@waveart-music.com

All the best.

Morten

Bozak Cards

I have had built first prototype board today to the original schematics. The components are nothing special although some are more modern so might effect tonal issues. Anyway I have no original cards to compare so I have no A/B and come to think of it if I had bozak cards then I wouldn't be building them. I have problem on one channel at moment but the design does function. Give me a few more weeks and these will be through the lab and we should be able to give some specs and opinions on the sound compared to some good hi fi and thew odd DJ mixer preamps we can find lurking about I haven't heard the project phono stages sold with this so I should try them too. Anyway just to say it CAN be done and watch this space.

Now have a headache from all that thinking!

Smile Bozak Phono Pre

The brains of this project (not me!) have found the fault on this card and it now performs with no hiss or oscillation. The circuit designs from dale lee's site from a link from Mick’s music page were very useful.

Thanks for the info guys.
