Smile E&s X 3004

I am going to order one soon but before I do I was just wondering if I will ask for any modifications. Which ones and what are they for?

Mods are a mechanical +12dB log pot of a +6dB lin pot. Standard config is +18dB log which is a lot of gain, if used without caution, especially if your on a system where blowing drivers is going to cost your $$$.

Yep, I got my DJR400 modded to +6. Also see if he can get you a power source for your country if you are outside Europe.

It reduces the amount you can boost the frequency band with each of the three knobs, +6db being a lot less than the +18db standard.

I'm looking into this as well, and the +6dB mod seems to make sense.

What's this about log pots versus linear pots, then?
I know normal level pots are log, but what should they be on an isolator?
