E&s X3004

Hi everyone, I'm after some of your help.

Basically I'm looking to sell my E&S X3004 but I have no idea how much its worth or if it is even worth selling. Does anyone know how much they go for new? I've tried contacting Jerome to no avail. Does anyone have a price list or any experience selling a used unit?

Its one of the original ones. I installed a power light and changed the knobs to ones similar to the dopereal but red.

I know i'm not meant to mention selling things on this part of the board, but technically i'm not. I already have a buyer lined up, he's had the unit in his possession for 2 years or so and now i'm ready to part with it, if the price is right. We basically need to come to a fair price thats good for the both of us.

Thanks for all your help on this.

Jimmy.

Try checking under the Trading Post sub-forum for an idea of what ISOs in that league go for. You might have to scroll to the bottom of the page under Display Options box and switch it to show you all posts.

Wow! They obviously hold their value well. Thanks for all the advice guys. Not sure if either of us had that price range in our heads. May have to eBay it after all.

Thanks again.

Ebay really is the best place to sell stuff albeit not to buy lol

I sold my LE for close to 1k which paid pretty much for a vintage Bozak not bad also seeing as I paid 500 for for the LE originally, great swap

Yeah VJ, just a shame about the fees.

Nice one for doing a turn on the LE, that's some deal, kinda wish i'd held on to mine for a while. I bought it for 400 as an ex demo from Soundcraft after we borrowed it for a party with Krivit & Claussell. I think I turned a small profit on it. I don't miss it at all. I think they got that mixer wrong, I understand keeping the integrity of the original, however you might as well buy an original. They should have (in my humble opinion) made some slight adjustments i.e, Balanced Line/Phono signals, single channel master eq (instead of the left & right), trim pots in place of balance. Just to give it a different flavour, the original will never be equalled, so why bother? You know?
