Looking for a Sub recommendation...

Hey there folks,

Looking for some subs for my JBL 4410s.
I'd like to keep the footprint as small as possible because I live in an apartment.
something front firing. Trying to stay away from a home theatre sub.
I was thinking 12" might be good.

Can anyone recommend something or even something simple I can build myself?

thanks!

those 14" JBL drivers (LE14H-3) can be very good subs in the right box and for the right application...
from what i've read on lansing heritage...

small footprint also

one example of JBL's deployment:

Go and check out the powered subs, available in kit form at www.partsexpress.com

GOOD quality for reasonable money, and fun to build.

Their best offerings are good. Their prices are VERY good. Their middle offering are good.

You'll get good value for your money, maybe not the TOP TOP level, but, gets you something that works at affordable pricing.

If you see something in particular, let me know what it is, I'll look at it. You can also call them, they have tech support, and will offer good advice based on what you tell them your needs are.

They have some nice DIY subs, though.

OH I AM A BELIEVER. I have built ten of them, and currently use 8 (albeit not all the time). Very efficient, not difficult to build. And there are various choices to choose from. I am a Tuba 36 man. I have made Tuba 30 and 18. The 18 really surprised me. Mine are 36x36x29.5 as to ease them through doors, and 36x36x25.5 four of each.
I am sold on these for my purpose, however, continue with the research. there are others too. Growler is popular and the Punisher yet another choice.

Yeah, i built them in my living room. Seriously.
