I'm amazed by this bass bin,Cerwin Vega T-36/750 1000w rms

Today I went to 'Oriental City' in North London,a massive centre with many chinese food and items shops, arcades and also many stalls and one large stage in the middle.
The Stage in the middle, happened to have some Amplified Chinese drumming and Chinese Dragons dancing[but no firecrackers].
I could hear it right the other end of the centre[about more than 1000 meters away]And it was damn loud even that far away, when I got up close,it was ear splitting loud about 130db.
I'm very amazed to say the least that the speakers and subs, were so clear, without a hint of distortion, but I couldn't see what amps were driving them, strange.
4x Cerwin Vega V-152 mk2 2 way speakers,4x single 18 inch 1000wrms,folded horn [Cerwin Vega T-36/750]
I couldn't tell what mics they were using, and also a very very large 80 inch drum.
I could see the cables leading to the floor and going under, maybe the amps were in a 'false floor'.
Anyway great experience for free, and lasted ages[about 4 hours constant].I'm surpised the drummer could hit it for so long, without getting a wrist ache.

cerwin Vega T-36

Trapezoid shaped version of the L-36. Made for arraying in multiples. Uses a special 18in woofer with a very long xmax and tight suspension! Extremely efficient. Horns rock!

I'm in UK!

A friend got a pair out of a old disco and copied them to make another pair, had the drivers rebuilt etc.

Why not do the same, these are always being thrown away!

I'll ask

But can't promise that he will be bothered! He had no need for plans as he already had a pair of boxes.
