Like 4 or 5 original urei 1620 mixers for sale?

I was looking on ebay recently and noticed that there are a lot of original urei 1620 mixers for sale. What is the deal with this? Are people unloading them because of the economy or not needed any longer or selling because they want another mixer, hint a (Bozak) or just selling for profit? What do you guys think? Also, what about the prices? Do you guys think that the set prices are high or low or just right?
Also, what about those urei 1620 shoes? I wonder if I can find some Bozak ones?

I think that folks offer these items for sale for their own reasons,
sometimes there are plenty, some times there are few...

all about the timing....

same thing for most vintage audio offerings....

maybe someone sold one recently and the sellers now saw the auction
and then decided to sell?

periods of drought and plentiful offerings seem normal to me...

it is interesting to see all of those soundcraft URei phono cards....

I have had a lot more than the normal amount of Bozak's and Urei's offered to me in the last 12 months and i have rehomed many of them..
i figure it is mainly to do with people needing the cash more than normal...

Actully i was thinking of selling off my Urei as it just sits around getting dusty these days and i need the cashola.....

I have been watching e-bay since this post started and it looks like a couple Bozaks have been put up for auction. Prices, options, and conditions vary but they are out there.

I sold my Urei a few years back because I wanted to different things dj wise. Mixing house or 4/4 music got boring to me. I'm more interested in the turntablism part of dj'ing these days.

I see a lot being sold by Mario G from NJ. He is regarded as one of the best in the biz for urei and bozak restoring. I think he buys old and beat up ones for a good price and gives them alot of love then sets them free on ebay for us to enjoy....

keep it up Mario!

Unfortunately none of them are selling. I think we are seeing the domino effect of the economy. There have been several reasonable Bozak auctions lately that have not sold.
