Serato SP-6 and M-Audio X-Session Pro

This is how I've mapped out the midi controls in Serato's SP-6 to a M-Audio X-Session Pro. Still trying to optimize the mapping.

Yes, I use the inside four. The outer two are for sound efx that won't be ejected.

Correct.

When making this diagram I saw a few ways of optimizing the midi mapping and assigning an eject button was one of them, however that would require me to only use two channels and not four.

No. The left two channels only output to the left channel/deck. Fader must be up for sound to play. The right two channels only output to the right channel/deck. Fader must be up for sound to play. SP-6 only works over master volume, it' can't be routed to any aux input.

Example:
- song is playing on left turntable
- I'll cue the acapella on the right turntable, lets say its in time at +6
- on one of the two left channels on the M-Audio controller I'll pitch up to +6
- I'll trigger the acapella by pressing play
- I can then ride the pitch on the M-Audio controller to keep the acapella in time
- song on left deck and acapella on left deck are all playing on the left channel
- I now have the right deck free to cue and mix in a song
