i had mine running off the loop as well as off the mains, no difference, it always sounds the same and thats great, i love giving it a thorough abuse hehe, so much fun, there's so much more stuff u can do with it instead of just dropping the bass and kicking it back it, i absolutely love hammering the tweeters and punching in the mids, has a really cool punch. i even had a friend asking me how do i make my mixes sound so punchy.

Very cool little rack case. Looks great

Greg, you like your isolator at the bottom like that? I would hate that lol. I gotta have it above the mixer.

Dj Greg G - where is that rack from, ive seen the soundactive one in japan, but the one youve got is better for my needs and also it will (hopefully?) be a bit more reasonably priced!

The Rack is from soundactive it's just the bigger one. Actually I do like the isolator at the bottom for the fact that I play with it more than the mixer. It's pretty comfortable because the rack tilts and my wrist don't hit any knobs.

Ask for AKIHIRO-KANEKO tell em Greg sent you. I always wanted to say that!

Ahh, the Sydney boys, I am getting curious how many Bozak/Urei owners we have in Australia, I just keep running into them.. I have sold 2x DL's in this land of ours over the last 10 years, the Rotary bug seems to be catching with the young DJ’s as well...

Onward and upward my fellow Australians! The more we get, the cheaper and more accessible they will be. And hopefully some of that quality can filter through into the clubs as well!

Another happy customer

Received my ISO in the mail yesterday, arrived in perfect shape with the Bozak knobs and Bozak round, green LED. A dead-ringer for the original light.

The sound is really fantastic: very musical, sharp cuts, sparkling highs. I was actually surprised when I flipped the Loop/Direct switch on the back of the Bozak and didn't hear a thing. Seriously, not even a click. There was absolutely no difference between the two signal paths that I could hear. Very impressive.

The pots feel great, I know they're ALPS Blue Velvets, but these feel like they have a bit less resistance than the knobs in my old 1620LE which had the same pots. Good news as far as I'm concerned, I didn't want them to be that tight considering I make faster movements with an isolator pot than the mixer volumes.

Looks good too: build quality, finish, construction. It's light, not too deep, the RCAs at the back don't shift when you attach cables. The 3-way switch is solid. As I've said elsewhere, I don't think build quality is a real factor in something as simple as an isolator; you'd really need to cheap out on something to screw that up and that obviously isn't the case here.

Mario was also great to do business with online. Completely outside of eBay, Craigslist, or any site, he did exactly what he said he would. I'd recommend him to anyone who asked.

Can't keep my hands off it. Thanks Mario!

Stop it with the pics that makes me moist lol I love the Bozak style lamp on the GSA, if I get one that's how i'll have it with my LE
I need a new console first before I can buy one of those ISO's as I only have 4U space max

here is the GSA website.

http://garystewartaudio.com/

they also make some other custom electronics.

again,
I would think you'd have better luck trying to contact them directly via phone or email;
as opposed to posting....

good luck!

Now that I own one, I must recommend the GSA Isolator to all who are looking for one. Most of the comments made on this forum I endorse wholeheartedly. Smooth action, good sound and made well also. All in one package.

I want to thank all those who have made donations in assisting me to get back to the music. I promise you that in the near future, each person who made a contribution will receive a Red Boy Stix as a token of my gratitude.

You can't go wrong with a GSA Iso. It's a great piece of gear.
