copyrights and trademarks are only valuable if the owner is willing and able to defend them...
it is also a shame that photocopies are called xeroxes, generally...
and petroleum jelly called vaseline... etc, etc, etc.
but I do agree with you in principle...
although as a counterpoint, sometimes i see patents, copyrights and trademarks that should likely not have been issued in the first place...
*edit* please don't misconstrue my comments about IP above, as condoning the apparent
lifting of Mssr. Jerome's styling abd concept cues.... but as I mentioned, those filings are typically
costly to defend against infringement, thus hard to maintain for smaller corporate entities....
I am unsure of the implications of cross border treaties in the EU with respect to the legal releaf options...
