removing the actual quartz control is easy its just a matter of snipping one resistor and then if you want a switch you just drill a hole in the cabinet put a switch in and solder it to the snipped ends and voila a switch for quartz control or no quartz control

if you remove the central bypass circuit as well you will get no zero point(like the m3d/mk5) and if you remove the ball youll get no click
