buy some wood. make a box that the 1620 can sit in. Then screw that box to your cabinet. the box will protect the 1620's chassis and wires. Obviously you'll need holes to place the TTs wires...

Are you sure tubes are travel friendly? Life on the road can be somewhat bumpy and I know tube filaments are not the most sturdy.

Also, swapping tubes can be a costly investment.

I thought about doing this so that I could use an external 15-band EQ in the effects loop... but the two band EQ is all I really need at the moment... so I got lazy and cheap and didn't look into it...
