Mr Bradshaw...

Ok, re-reading my post I admit that the opening comment was a flippant remark which I should not have written, it was not intended as a personal attack, so I do apologise for that.

Also when I was...

Nights of the Yoku

I just heard Yoku play Nights Of The Jaguar at SoulHeaven/Ministry on Saturday.
He introduced it with an orchestral passage before breaking into the main track, and people were LOVING it!
More than...

Matt,

possibly the track you are talking about is 'Marisa' by Machine.
I think he played that anyway.

5 reasons-I'm sure there is more

1: It is easy to pick up, put down.

2: 1 ear to monitor new track, 1 ear free to listen to the room.

3: You don't feel like you are shackled to the mixer with a cumbersome plastic thing around your...

I may be mistaken, but

there was a bootleg from NY about 2 years ago that had the spiritual flute mix of janet that was an anthem at Body&Soul, listed as the Claussell mix, although it was in fact done by MAW.

It is...

5 steps forward and 1 step back?

Can anyone tell me why the CDJ1000 does not have a headphone socket?
seems like an unnesscesary feature, what with dj mixers etc, but when 'in the field', you quickly realise how useful that is.

look east

This track is on a Japanese CD release from Spiritual Life.
Not sure if it's the same version, there are some differing descriptions, but it sounds great all the same.

It might help slightly if you

don't look for Zap Mama, look for 'Push It To The Max".
That's the only info on the label.
Still going to be tricky though.
Try some shops in SF?

apart from anything else, the loop facility has an 'in' and 'out' adjust, and the 3 hot start points which will take you to any chosen point, anywhere on the CD, even a different track.
And with the...

maybe, I never saw a disconet version

it's the version with the vocal breakdown in the middle, as sampled on MAW's Hardrive EP way back when.
The bootlegs are covered in pops and clicks, I wondered if there was ever a clean copy.

Disco bootleg question

Did anyone ever get a playable copy of Love Hangover (1st take version),
the one with Quincy & Patti Austin on the flip.

I had one in '90, and it was crackly,
I bought another in '95 which was...
