There is only one 2200uf cap in there and then a few of the 1000uf ones.

I noticed on another...

Mixer power flickering, one capacitor swollen, replace all?

One of my digital mixer's power is flickering. The wall wart is a known properly working unit, so that's not it. I opened the unit up and one of the power capacitors is swollen on top; it's 16v...

Still too expensive at $500 for something so simple. Their margins must be huge, even with the free mk2 version mk1 buyers are getting. Only 2 channels is a problem, as I prefer having a third...

Know anyone who builds inexpensive passive DJ mixers?

Doesn't even need a headphone out, though a second assignable line-out would be nice that I can send to my own headphone amp. At the very...

I like my LabSubs, but I find normal reflex designs tend to sound more like I am used to. I also don't see how 2000 watts into 3 ohms per cab is safe for extended use when you look at various graphs...

Did I misspeak in an earlier post? I'm saying even the best analog DJ mixers mess up the bass more than the best digital DJ mixers, and that might be one of the reasons behind why more nuanced bass...

That's only the case with analog mixers. Even the DJM800 when connected properly (all digitally in and out to the house DSP) can give them a run for the money when used properly. I don't think my...
