Has anyone ever made a mixer with a rotary crossfader? (i.e. full turn ccw would be full channel A, and full turn cw is full channel B, etc).

Question about line inputs on UREI 1620LE

Hi, I realise that by using line inputs A-E you get the flexibility to route them to any of the channels 3-6, but can anyone tell me if there is any 'technical' difference between the line inputs 1-3...
