ok as your using 15 inches then here are a few drivers which are available from many pro audio and disco shops.

For the Drivers the Fane Colossus 18 XB rated 600w AES,the Eminence Sigma pro 18 rated 650w rms,or the Eminence Omega pro 18 rated 800w rms.

Those enclosures are scoop bass bins,I can tell because the driver hole faces forward and the horn flare is rear loaded. Anyway they look solidly built,but the colour they are painted in looks...

Mostly it's the mid and high frequencies which can damage your hearing,not the bass frequencies.
Because treble frequencies especially 1khz and 2khz are extremely harsh if played loud.Also distortion...

So you mean 3 way fullrange. 20hz-20khz.[Well most 15 inches don't go lower than 35hz].

You could either use a 12 inch or 15 inch for bass.
10 inch,8 inch or 6 inch for mid,and a 1 inch titanium...

But if you are very rich then THE BEST consoles/rotary mixers are the NEVE,SSL.They cost 100,000 minimum - 1 million pounds.

The Eminence Beta 12 LT [45hz-10khz] with a piezo tweeter,either a piezo which is 1.8khz - 20khz,or piezo which is 3.5khz-30khz.
This makes a simple,low cost 2 way speaker ideal for foldback wedge...

You can make a 2 way speaker without any crossover.

15 inch or 12 inch bass driver and large piezo tweeter horn or a few square piezo tweeters.

For 2 inch compression drivers very good manufactors are really JBL,Beyma,Fane,EV,B&C[B&C comp drivers are very nice],TAD,Precision Devices,RCF.

Personally I think the lab subs are great for deep bass reproduction,but are not very godd for the upper bass/mid that scoops give.Hence the word 'subs',they are really only good for sub bass.So...

Driving a 600w rms driver with 1200w rms is fine as long as it's not clipped[either the poweramp or the mixer].
The extra 600w rms gives the amp more headroom,allowing it for tweaking,and sounding...

The Eminence PSD3003 drivers are discontinued,but Eminence said in the near future they are getting something to replace then with.
But I was never keen on the Eminence comp drivers,BEYMA and FANE...
