replacing technics pitch slider

Does anyone know if I can replace the pitch slider on my 1200mk2 with the pitch slider from a 1210mk5 like the one below?

And if I wanted to, could I replace it with the slider from the mk3?

I am not sure of the specifics, but think that some assemblies are interchangeable, but not all...

for just the pot itself, wouldn't it be just a physical size and rating issue?

Below are the part numbers for the 3 models, they all have the same pin outs apart for Mk3 & Mk5 have the reset button on the PCB. I would have thought you would be ok. Call Panasonic if you need 1200mk2 parts.

MK3

With the MK2 you can fit the Mk3d/Mk5 slider, but not the MK5g. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 2, 3d and 5 are all analogue pitches while the 5g is digital.

If you're in the UK try Bop DJ or Dj Spares as I have found their prices to be better than Juno.

Dj Spares is also good at answering questions like the ones you have asked (he is a tech with experience of repairing/servicing dj equipment).
