Technics 1200 tonearm sloping down

For a while now I've been dealing with one of my Technics 1200 mkii3d's having a tonearm that slopes down from back to front. The needle is pointing downward not drastically but noticeably. I need to adjust the vertical azimuth by +2 in order for the tip of the needle on this deck to be level with the same needle on my normal looking deck.

Could anyone recommend what might be causing this and how I could try to fix it?

Thanks!

Not quite picturing what your describing, a picture would be good comparing the two. Though if you can still level off with the arm height adjustment then they should peform the same. Having the arms or cartirdge body level maybe considered good practice, this is not always the case. I have often had better results with arm base being higher.

It sounds like the arm is bent and needs replacement.

i have the same issue with my tonearm. I though it was a height issue, but when i paired up the both one arm hangs much lower due to a bend or slope in the tonearm. Im not sure how it happened, but my guess a new arm would have to be considered, but this does not seem to affect play in anyway?

It's definitely still playable, it's just that the needle on that arm tends to jump out of the groove during cueing more than the other turntable. I'll try to photograph it to give a clearer idea of what's going on.
