unless im wrong and you can correct me on this if i am but isnt a 192k file lower end on the sonic resolution to say 320k whick is the highest for digital that isnt a wav and why not use a wav file un less your talking about something dif i dont see the point of running anything thru an $11000 dac unless its lossless or analog

at 24 bit arent the resolutions the same and go down in quality exponentially as the number decreases ie 320 256 192 128 96 64 etc

just my 2c

24bit 192k is the depth and sampling rate. The 192k in '192k MP3' is really supposed to be 192kbps (kilobits per second), the max amount of data per second that is recorded.

ah ok now i get it

soundmanshorty 10-12-2010 05:05 PM

I mounted the SP1

3 Attachment(s)
in my console and will make some mix cds and see how it works with house music, should be fun to be able to sweetin up the songs as desired on the fly.

Im working on th front panel design rt now and it is really coming along nicely, ill post when the SP1 is complete

Mistick Krewe 10-13-2010 07:05 PM

so do the knobs control the biasing of the tubes?

what's going on with this, in basic/generic terms...

So what exactly does this thing do?

Fred Bissnette 03-12-2011 05:23 PM

i think but shorty can correct me that its just a preamp device with tubes so that you can get tube warmth out of anything connected to it

or maybe it does something else

bossa nolyx 03-12-2011 06:37 PM

So no revolution in the way I could playback...?
