TAD Complete speakers

Yes they make speakers and theatre systems as well as raw drivers! They have this push-pull box with TAD-1603,s that really sounds great! Pricey as F--K though!

thats the one

in the link above,,its two of those for $2800 ,,thats not bad at all when you consider its 4 TAD woofers and a 2" TAD driver..Of course if you dont happen to have 2800 lying around (I sure dont) then its a lot of money. They must
sound amazing though.
:)
On the bright side I picked up a pair of like new Yorkville Powered 218P's yesterday for almost nothing..dual 18s and 600w amp in each sub. They sound pretty strong and I was actually surprised how clean they sounded.
,they are HUGE though and weigh 185lbs a piece.
As soon as I take pics of them Ill put em on ebay. Got way too much stuff already..

Big Stuff is Good!

if it dont weigh enough, it cant play enough!

yorkvilles DO sound good and are favored for mobile use by many.

Those TAD boxes sound great. They are expensive, and if you gotta have that, well, thats the deal.

Yorkville uses Eminence too! And I like the way their speakers sound!

gee, 185lbs aint bad! My J-horns are 385lbs per box and 125lbs for the J extension.

Big stuff is good!

Big is Good

Huh...

My top cabs are 180 pounds and are on wheels!

So there!

Who needs Neo. magnets!

Who was biding on that Urei 546.

I hate e-bay sometimes, just beat me!

LOL

You guys are nuts!!!LOL,,my normal mobile setup is two Yorkville Elite 160s (10" 1" all rcf) and Mackie srs1500s bottoms..tops weigh maybe 20lbs a piece. Wont play anywhere near as loud as yours I am SURE! but they get the job done for most my gigs..
:D

Yes I am nutz!

My system is a BEHEMOTH! But it is a permanent install! Weight isnt an issue.

your just figuring out that you gotta be a little crazy in this buisiness? LOL!

Easy to find DJ's its roadies I need!

Moving these makes grown men cry. I have got One QSC PLX thats the sane part of me. Might trade it in for a big twin transformer mother of all amps!

Give me a medium sized space of my own and I'd be building them big horns on site!
