...In no particular order.
- 'Fade' Kimblee (Solu Music)
- 'Odo Aye' Ola Jagun (Spiritual Life)
- 'Days Like This' Shaun Escoffrey (Oyster Music)
- 'Change' Bugge Wesseltoft (Jazzland)
- 'A Dollar And A Dream' Phantom Power (Clicktracks)
..and let's not even talk about "Star Suite". (ever really listened to the lyrics?)
More on the mellow tip:
- Gravity (whole album) Monolake (EFA)
- Plateau Of Mirrors Brian Eno / Harold Budd (Editions EG)
- Acoustic Soul India Arie
Anybody heard M'Shell Ndegeocello's new album yet?

The 'Still Phil' record is released, I think (not even sure). It's called 'Bey un Bey'. No idea when Ola Jagun's record is coming out.
Sorry, I can't even direct you to anyone at Spiritual Life Music, as their web site is still under construction, but you may want to try info@spirituallifemusic.com? Who knows, this may get answered?

Hi,
What a wonderful site!!!
soft colors and design
About the search of Yvan for Stil Phil "Bey Un Bey" remixed by MKL, it has been released already, I can confirm because I got it in France in August, a shop imported 10 of them from NYC via a French provider. Just ask to your shop or change of it.
Tracks very dark, beyond House touching and testing your own depth, ready to follow?
Close to the mood of Bugge.
A little bit more mellow, not house:
check in Jazz on ACT, german label, new Lp called "Shadows In The Rain" with Mr Lauer German musician on saxophone and Sidsel Endresen (Norway) on vocal on a single track of the same name "Shadows in The Rain" (written by Sting), SUB LIME !
Sidsel is a good friend of Bugge!!!
Encore Bravo à toute l'équipe pour le nouveau site.
U did not built it alone?

Where can I get copies of Kimblee - Fade or Zap Mama - Nostalgies Amoreuse. I'm UK based and no-one has them here. Nor do they have them at Dance Tracks or Satellite?
If you could suggest anywhere else that would be great.
Thanks

You might try Dub Spot:
http://www.dubspotrecords.com/
Those are not necessarily easy to get. The Zap Mama record
is a white label, and might never be in print again due to
the fact that it's a sample. The Kimblee record should be a bit easier.

don't look for Zap Mama, look for 'Push It To The Max".
That's the only info on the label.
Still going to be tricky though.
Try some shops in SF?

The Still Phil tune FK played in his mix was released in the spring of 2001. It is on Natural Resources label (manufactured by Spiritual Life Music)and it's MKL + Soy Soyce.
Hope this helps

for every track to be very upfront in DJ sets?
I know that you play classics but just wondered what your thoughts are as some people seem to think that a person is less than worthy if they're not busting the latest so-called "bullet".
BTW, this site is tres magnifique!
A bien tot!

I usually play what my heart tells me the crowd would love, including surprises, and most of the time focus on the story told with the music. Vulnerability must find its place in there too, or else how to create contrast?...
